What you’ll do:Contribute to a team of hard-working ‘spro-pros by bringing your A-game, valuing quality, customers, and the people that work alongside themPrepare coffee and espresso beverages to PERC standards Uphold PERC’s mission and values in their workDemonstrate knowledge of coffee, PERC standard practices, and PERC brandProvide exceptional hospitality that exceeds customer service expectationsCommunicate effectively with guests and teammatesMaintain cleanliness in all areas, following ServSafe guidelines.Be on time, in the right place, in the right uniform, with the right attitude We’re looking for people who:Have an inclusive mindset and team-player attitudeHave coffee curiosity (industry experience is a plus, but not required!) Have a service-first mentality with a willingness to learnCommunicate professionally using active listening and being fully presentHave a positive outlook and solution-orientedOpen to giving and receiving feedback, positive and constructiveAre dependable, able to fulfill work commitments while being punctualCan stand for up to 8 hours, repeatedly lift and carry up to 30lbs, and make repetitive hand and arm motions, including tamping espresso Ability to participate in quality assurance of products served, including tasting espressoJob Requirements:Part-time and full-time barista positions as available Part-time is 10–29 hrs/week or 2 to 4 shifts a weekFull-time is 30–40 hrs/week or 4 to 5 shifts a weekShifts start between 6am -12pmWeekend availability requiredTraining includes 6 sessions over 2 weeks (3 off-bar and 3 shadow shifts)Compensation & Benefits:$12/hr plus tipsHealth, vision, & dental insurancePaid time offPaid sick leaveFree coffee and swagThe job description above does not list each and every job responsibility of a barista.
