Lodge Opening/Closing Shift Job Duties: Make recommendations to guests on places to go and things to do in Asheville/WNC Engage with customers/guests Handle retail sales transactions Prepare coffee drinks for guests/customers Complete various lodge opening / closing tasks Wash and fold laundry Clean cafe, conference room and event space as needed Chop and restock firewood Prepare / light communal campfires Light property maintenance. Schedule: Part time and full time staff rotate between 7 hour shifts based on business need and staff availability… Lodge Opening Shift: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Lodge Closing Shift: 1:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Compensations & Benefits: Starting pay is $16/hr + tips 1.5x holiday pay (select holidays) Employer-paid urgent care plan for the individual or family Employee discount on Canteen purchases and A-frame cabin rentals Transferrable complimentary stays in a Wrong Way A-frame cabin (2 nights per year) Complimentary coffee Quarterly employee events and outings such as the annual staff party and whitewater rafting trip. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license and your own, reliable transportation Must be able to stand for long periods and climb stairs Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
