Part Time Barista

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Barista who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional coffee and hospitality experiences. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who leads by example, supports team development, and helps create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for both guests and staff.

**Minimum Requirements:**

- Passion for specialty coffee, hospitality, and building a strong sense of community.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting team success.
- Proficiency in espresso preparation, milk steaming, and drink quality.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness (including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash)
- Support kitchen operations by preparing light breakfast items as needed.
- Create, test, and refine coffee recipes to support seasonal and core menu offerings
- Monitor inventory levels, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Ability to lead shifts, delegate tasks, and support daily opening and closing procedures.
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic cash handling, POS system, and inventory support experience preferred.
- Support in-store training initiatives to enhance staff skills and knowledge, including updating them on new procedures or menu items.
- Assist with in-store events, video and photoshoots, promotions, or special activities as needed.
- Help with store promotions or other marketing efforts if required.
- Ability to travel for pop-ups and special events and work at any future location.
- Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices.
- Food handler certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
