Sales Assistant/Cashier

Job Description: We are looking for a cheerful, friendly individual to join our team at our store in Northiam. This role involves working a variety of shifts throughout the week, including evenings and Saturdays, within our opening hours of 7am to 9pm. An immediate start is available. Key Responsibilities: Serving customers in a polite and efficient manner Replenishing stock and maintaining product displays Operating the till and handling cash/card transactions accurately Ensuring the shop floor and forecourt are clean, tidy, and safe at all times Assisting customers with queries and providing excellent customer service Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages Following all company procedures, including health and safety guidelines About you: Friendly, approachable, and reliable Positively motivated with a strong work ethic Confident communicating with members of the public Able to work well both independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. This is initially a part-time position, with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate. Flexibility is essential, and due to our location, applicants must have their own transport.
