Position Details Position: AM Kitchen Supervisor, Byron location Schedule: 5 days per week Shift: 40-45 hours/week, a majority of shifts will be in the morning/day Wage: Starting at $20-23/hour based on experience Responsibilities Manage back-of-the-house operations and enforce company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Ensure that all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, according to all established procedures. Ensure that inventory levels for both food and non-food items are properly maintained and par levels are adjusted accordingly during busy and slow times. Assist in ordering products. Maintain low labor and food costs. Anticipate maintenance equipment repairs and adhere to safety and sanitation requirements. Attend manager meetings. Ensure thorough training and development of kitchen staff. Qualifications 1-2 years previous experience cooking; preferably in management. High school diploma; some college or degree preferred. Ability to perform duties with extensive standing and exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for a distance of up to 30 feet, reach heights of approximately 6 feet, and reach depths of 2 1/2 - 3 ft. Willingness to work irregular hours under heavy pressure/stress during busy times.
