Line Cook

Our line cooks showcase our food through quality-focused service, leave people happier than when they arrived, and make great food approachable to everyone. They are responsible for making and serving breakfast and lunch offerings, opening and closing the kitchen, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, and sharing good times and insanely awesome food with everyone we meet. What you’ll do: Contribute to a team of hard-working professionals by bringing their A-game, valuing quality, customers and the people who work alongside themExecute daily breakfast and lunch menu with knowledge of all ingredients Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following food safety guidelinesPrep ingredients and ensure the team is set up for success by completing daily tasksAlways be on time, in the right place, in the right uniform, with the right attitudeUphold PERC’s mission and values in their work What we’re looking for people who:Passion for cooking (industry experience is a plus, but not required!)Enjoy working early hoursHave an inclusive mindset and team-player attitudeHave a service-first mentality with a willingness to learnCommunicate professionally using active listening and being fully presentHave a positive outlook, promoting constructive feedback to challenges at workAre dependable, able to fulfill work commitments while being punctualAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50lbsAdditional Details:We hire for part-time and full-time line cook positions as available Part-time is (10–29 hrs/week) or 2 to 4 shifts a weekFull-time (30–40 hrs/week) or 4 to 5 shifts a weekShifts start at 6 am and 8 am; weekend availability requiredCompensation & Benefits:$15/hr plus tipsHealth, vision, & dental insurancePaid time offPaid sick leaveFree coffee and swagThe job description above does not list each and every job responsibility of a line cook.
