Part-Time Kitchen Staff

The Birch is a specialty craft beer bar located in Norfolk, VA. The Birch specializes in beer, cider, and mead with a food menu that includes grilled cheeses, cheese and charcuterie plates, and snacks. We are looking to add a fun and creative new cook with a zest for trying new things to our small kitchen staff. This is a great position for someone looking to gain some experience and learn how a small kitchen operates including controlling food cost, presentation, and menu creation. A great place to start for someone looking to get into the industry! Kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Friday and Saturday availability is a must, including nights. 2-3 shifts per week. Shifts: Wednesday: 4:00pm - 9:30pm Thursday: 4:00pm - 9:30pm Friday: 4:00pm-10:30pm Saturday: 3:30pm - 10:30pm Sunday: 2:30pm - 8:30pm Required: Please send your resume and tell us a little about yourself and why you would be a great fit for The Birch!
