Position: Front Staff Type: Part time hourly Shifts: Day and weekend Pay: $12 an hour plus tips Pineapple Sol is a one of a kind event experience offering luxury picnics, fresh pastries, charcuterie, brunch, delicious food, high tea, custom event designs, and so much more! Pineapple Sol combines flavor, beauty, aesthetic, catering, design, tasteful atmosphere and more to make events simply unforgettable and beyond enchanting. We are bringing our dream to open a full scale restaurant to a reality and need fun, hard-working, trustworthy folks to help us. Duties and Responsibilities Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system Making menu item recommendations Manage, track and stock inventory for kitchen and front house service Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff when applicable Uphold sanitation and food safety principles Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area Skills and Qualifications Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor Exceptional organization and time management Effective written and verbal communication skills Great active listening skills Ability and willingness to collaborate Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted Education and Training Requirements None Experience Requirements No experience required however, experience working within a fast-paced customer service environment is preferred.
