About This Role
Bottle Logic Brewing is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will already have route driving or delivery experience, but we’ll train an otherwise exemplary driver to pilot our fleet of vehicles throughout Southern California, delivering fresh beer to our network of wholesale customers. The position is not limited to deliveries; we maintain and troubleshoot beer dispensing systems at our on-premise accounts, utilize the fleet as pouring stations at festivals, and pursue overnight endeavors to Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona to retrieve cooperage and represent the brand at out-of-town events.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Loading of company-provided fleet cargo vans, ensuring that both the vehicle and the products are safe throughout the process.
- Safely operate company delivery vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Build, wrap, and label pallets for freight shipping; prep and label cases of product for parcel shipment through third-party logistics companies (FedEx, GLS, and other third-party shippers).
- Use of manual and powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, walkie (straddle) stackers, and any other equipment deemed necessary to complete daily tasks.
- Knowledge of draft beer systems including but not limited to long-draw, short-draw, jockey box, and vehicle-mounted systems.
- Accurately keep records of invoices, cash/checks/money orders collected, keg deposits/returns, vehicle inventories.
- Warehouse work: Inventory, cleaning, organizing, material handling, loading/unloading deliveries, and labeling pallets.
CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
- 25+ Years of age (due to insurance limitations).
- 1-2 years of experience driving large cargo vans or straight/bobtail type vehicles.
- Delivery experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Clean driving record, both in personal and prior company vehicles.
- Absolutely no DUI convictions on driving record.
- Must be able to load, lift, and unload cases (approximately 30 pounds each) & kegs (up to 165 pounds each).
- Industry-leading customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The pay range for this position is between $20-23 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
