Casual Social Media Coordinator

Wild Canary is looking for an experienced high-volume Barista to join our fun and energetic team. You must be fast on your feet, have a strong background in hospitality, experience using specialty coffee, able to multitask, have great customer service and work well in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes weekends.

This is a Casual position with the opportunity for part-time or full-time employment available to the right candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Speciality coffee experience
- Deliver beverages in line with our standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
- Greeting customers
- Waiting tables
- Running food and drinks
- General Café /Restaurant duties
- Upholding our high standard of customer service

To be considered for this role you should:
- Be available on weekdays and weekends
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Barista in similar venue
- Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
- Able to work well under pressure
- Work well in a team environment
- Must have positive attitude, good work ethic, team player and communication skills and willing to assist in all necessary daily café duties
- Have a passion for hospitality, coffee and strong product knowledge and excellent customer service
- Have current RSA
- Be available on weekdays and weekend availability essential
- Have Australian work rights (valid for at least 12 months)

As we are a 7 day a week operation for breakfast and lunch, we would prefer someone with flexible availability.
