Barista (Events)

Tanamera Coffee is hiring Baristas to support our out-of-store events team.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Prepare and Serve Coffee:**Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, adhering to our quality standards.
- **Customer Service:**Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, take and process orders, and address customer inquiries and concerns.
- **Maintain Cleanliness:**Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee preparation area and equipment at all times.
- **Order Handling:**Process orders quickly and accurately, providing customers with the right product in a timely manner.
- **Product Knowledge:**Stay informed about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and menu items to assist customers in making informed choices.
- **Team Collaboration:**Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth setup, operations and demobilisation, contributing to a positive work environment.
- **Stocking and Inventory:**Monitor and restock coffee beans, milk, and other supplies as needed for each event, keeping track of inventory levels.
- **Adherence to Policies:**Follow SFA hygiene guidelines and company policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
- **Basic Technical Knowledge**: Able to setup, troubleshoot and pack coffee equipment for events out of store independently.
- **Physically fit**: Mobile and able to carry a reasonable amount of weight in setup and demobillisation of equipment as needed for events.

### **Qualifications and Skills:**
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for coffee, including coffee equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to operate coffee brewing equipment and iPad/Android tablet.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
